Barbados Punch


Go tropical by adding rum and guava paste to this recipe by Morgan Greenhalgh for Barbados Punch.







  • 1 ounce of aged Barbados rum –  Recommended to use Mount Gay rum
  • 2 ounce of cognac
  • 1 tablespoon of guava jelly
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 ounces of water
  • half a lemon
  • 2 slices of orange

How to make Barbados Punch:

First squeeze the lemon into the shaker.  Add the guava, sugar and 1 ounce of warm water.   Mix the content to dissolve everything.  Pour the rest of the water, rum and cognac and shake well.  Pour the drink into an old fashioned glass with ice.  You can garnish your drink with slice of orange.
