Classic and very popular Peruvian cocktail, Chilcano is surprisingly good and very easy to make.  It’s made with Pisco, a type of brandy that is made in Chile and Peru, and you can find Chilcano in most Peruvian restaurants’ cocktail menus.  This recipe is from BarSol Pisco.

  • 2 ounce of BarSol Primero Pisco
  • Ginger ale
  • 1/2 ounce of fresh lime juice
  • two to three drops of Angostura Bitters

How to make Chilcano cocktail:

Pour the Pisco and lime juice into a glass filled with iced.  Top it with ginger ale and add the bitters.  You can garnish it with lime.
