The Flannel


Combine cognac with apple cider into this refreshing and warming drink. 







  • 1 ounce Cognac
  • 1/2 ounce apple cider syrup
  • 1/4 ounce Allspice dram
  • 1/4 ounce orange juice

First you need to make apple cider syrup.  You need four cups of apple cider that is freshly pressed.  Pour it in a saucepan and boil it. lower the heat and keep it at boiling while stirring it form time to time till the liquid is reduced to about a cup.  It should take about one hour.  Turn the stove off and let it cool down. You can store it in refrigerator.

How to prepare The Flannel Cocktail:

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice.  Shake very well and strain into a glass with fresh ice.  Normally you should use large ice cube if you have.  You can garnish with orange peel.  Cheers
