Hard Water Presbyterian


This is a fancier and spicier than classic Presbyterian cocktail by Erik Adkins.  He uses bourbon and this drink has a ginger kick.  It’s also a little bit more complicated to make than the classic version but if you like the ginger, you’ll enjoy this drink.






  • 2 ounce of bourbon
  • 3/4 ounce of lemon juice
  • 2 ounce of club soda
  • 1/2 ounce of ginger syrup – 1 part ginger juice and 1 part sugar

How to make Hard Water Presbyterian cocktail:

Fill up a glass with ice and pour the soda into it.  Set it aside.  Combine the remaining ingredients into a shaker and shake.  Double strain it into the glass with club soda and you can garnish it with piece of ginger.
