La Valencia


Mix your tea with rye whiskey instead of hot water for this complex cocktail.







  • 1 ounce chamomile-infused Rye Whiskey
  • 1.5 ounce La Gitana Manzanilla Sherry
  • 1/2 ounce Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1/2 ounce Simple syrup – 1 part water, 1 part sugar
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice

How to prepare La Valencia Cocktail:

First thing is to make the chamomile infused rye whiskey.  To do that, pour one tablespoon of chamomile tea into six ounce of rye whiskey.  Stir it occasionally while letting it sit for an hour and 45 minutes.  Strain it through cheesecloth into a container or bottle and keep it in refrigerator.

After you made your chamomile infused rye, pour all ingredients into a shaker full of ice.  Shake and strain it into a glass.  Cheers
