Necromancer Cocktail

Necromancer is an absinthe cocktail created by Mayur Subbarao for Louro restaurant in New York.   It’s a great way of easing into drinking absinthe.  It brings out the absinthe’s anise and fennel characteristics and has a sweet, sour and citrus forward flavor.  This modern classic cocktail is served neat up and is relatively strong.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 ounce of Tenneyson Absinthe
  • 3/4 ounce of lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce of Lillet Blanc
  • 3/4 ounce of Pür Likör Blossom Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1 dash of gin

How to make Necromancer cocktail:

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker full of ice.  Shake well and strain into a glass.  You can garnish with lime or lemon twist
