Rhubarb Fix

Mix up gin, sherry and rhubarb for this cold and refreshing modern classic cocktail. 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounce of gin
  • 3/4 ounce of rhubarb syrup – See below for the syrup recipe
  • 1 ounce of manzanilla sherry
  • 1/2 ounce of lemon juice

How to prepare Rhubarb Fix cocktail:

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice.  Shake well & strain into a glass full of fresh ice.  You can garnish with mint spring

Rhubarb Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 64 ounce of water
  • eight cups of sugar
  • four cups of chopped rhubarb

Pour all the ingredients into a saucepan and cook at low heat and keep stirring till sugar dissolves.   Cook five more minutes and turn off the heat and let it cool.  Strain and store in refrigerator.
