Try this cognac based cocktail, named after a famous 1930s bar in Havana.   Sloppy Joe’s used to host many Americans and celebrities for forty years or so.  It lost it’s American customers after Cuban revolution in 1960s and was burned.  It reopened in 2013 and still serves Sloppy Joe’s cocktail.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce cognac
  • 2 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce port wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange curacao
  • 1/4 teaspoon pomegranate grenadine

How to make Sloppy Joe’s cocktail:

Add all the ingredients into shaker full of ice.  Shake hard and well.  Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
