Ward Eight

The Ward Eight is one of the Boston’s major contributions to mixology, originated in 1898 at the bar of the Gilded Age restaurant Locke-Ober.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounce rye whiskey
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce orange juce
  • 2 teaspoon Grenadine

How to prepare The Wart Eight Cocktail:

Combine all the ingredients into a shaker and fill up with ice.  Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.  If you want to garnish, you can use cherry.
