Rye Whiskey

Angel’s Envy Rye

From the Ingenuity of a Master Distiller comes Lincoln Henderson’s modern take on bourbon that took the American whiskey scene by storm not so long ago. Now Angel’s Envy has returned with a 95% rye whiskey with a Caribbean Rum Cask finish. This special brand was highly popular and sold out quickly.

Bulleit Rye

The Bulleit Rye is produced by Diageo – a reputable scotch giant -, and distilled in the MGP of Indinana distillery – along others such as Redemption Rye, Templeton Rye, High West, Willet Rye, Angel’s Envy Rye and George Dickel Rye, as well as other smaller brands which don’t divulge their origin. Bulleit utilizes a recipe consisting of MGP’s of 95% rye plus 5% malted barley, which is used to help the enzymes jump start fermentation. It is aged between four and seven years, and gets bottled at 45% ABV by Diageo.

(rī)1 Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey

The (ri)1 whiskey, is a straight rye whiskey from Kentucky. It is pronounced “rye one”. It is made by Beam Global Spirits. This whiskey is not like the traditional rye whiskey that most people are used to. It has a sweeter and lighter taste, without losing that spicy snap. Its name, (ri)1, is rather confusing for some people, but the quality is really good, and it is a good fit for Beam’s family of products. It does possess great potentials for making a cocktail. A bartender can use this whiskey’s unique profile in making interesting creations of whiskey cocktails.
